Rainbow cloud nails!

Hello,

This is from a while ago.. but yup. It's a rainbow clouds with smiley faces. :D
I found this amazing tutorial at http://luuthienluv.blog.me where she posts so many cute designs. I always get inspired by her to do more nail art.
Check out her tutorial here: http://luuthienluv.blog.me/140128646038

Yay happy nails

Top L-R: Sinful Colors Sugar Rush, Timbleberry, Wet n Wild Teal Slowly and See, Listening to Blue Reed, Sally Hansen White Tip
Bottom L-R: Sally Hansen Good to Grape, China Glaze Gaga for Green, Revlon Buttercup, China Glazy Fairy Dust

First I painted the base colors. I actually really wanted to leave my nails like this, just because the blues were so pretty... ^^

Bam the art is almost done. I remember regretting my color choices, because the colors of the rainbow didn't show up as brightly as I had wanted them too. Things are going smoothly, and I think I took like 3 hours. (I paint my nails while doing something else, like watching Youtube.)

Haha the clouds look so creepy, especially the one on my thumb. I kinda messed up..

Yay the clouds have dimensional eyes now! :D I think I like the ring finger the most..

In sunlight, Fairy Dust looks so pretty... ^_^ I love how topcoat evens everything out..

So yup. Long time no post. T-T I'm almost over this whole busy time! Things are getting rough, and time is flying by, but I can't wait until next semester when I'll hopefully have more free time to do nail art! :D

P.S. I've suddenly been fan-girling about G-dragon. I never used to like him, but all of a sudden, I fell for him hard. T-T I've been reading some manga too, and watching some dramas. Ahh I should get more sleep instead of fan-girling, but what canya say. The feels are too much.
P.P.S. SATs hurt the heart. D':

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream Review / Swatch

Hello!

Today I have a review for the Missha Perfect Cover B.B. Cream in No. 21. It's my first BB Cream actually, and I'm not even sure if I got the right shade, but it sorta works out. :D

The packaging looks nice. I'm thankful for the SPF 42!

I like how it's a pump dispenser, because sanitary issues aren't as big of a problem compared to just open bottle makeup.

Erm, I know the shade No. 21 looks way too pale for my skin, but don't worry, that's just for my hand. I got really tan over the summer, but my face didn't get as tan. Plus, this bb cream sort of changes to fit your skin tone better..

Before applying Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream
My problems are mainly acne, dark spots, enlarged pores, and whiteheads/blackheads. I was hoping that the bb cream would even out redness as well as cover hyper pigmentation.

Right after applying
You can tell that it looks kinda rough right after applying, but don't worry! Just wait a few minutes.. The product is settling into your skin.

A few minutes after applying
See, it looks much better after waiting a few minutes after application! It brightens your face and gives it a nice, semi-flawless glow. If only my skin were like this without any makeup.. T-T

The way I put on this bb cream was with my hands, first dotting it all over my face and patting it down. It worked well in my opinion. I always get lazy with brushes, so I like how I can use bb cream without brushes.

Overall, I really like this product! Of course, I can't really say much because it's my first BB cream, but I like how it feels nice and light while still giving me decent coverage. It doesn't fully cover my dark circles though, but I have very obvious dark circles.. :o I don't have to set it with powder or anything. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for some medium-light coverage for those lazy days. (For me, lazy days are every day haha..) You can just slap some of this on, and it'll last for quite a while. I wore this to the anime convention I went a couple of weeks ago, and it lasted pretty well, for about 8 hours.. I wore this to homecoming too! Just make sure that your face is freshly clean and moisturized before putting it on.. derp.

I bought mine online, but I'm sure that some Asian beauty stores might carry it.. maybe.. There's always online stores too! It wasn't that pricey either, maybe around $15? I forgot, since I bought it early this past summer.. T^T

P.S. There are some girls at my school that don't wear makeup but still have flawless skin. It's so bright and pale and scar-free. Like no joke, howwww? >_<

Book Haul :D

Hey Guys!

I haven't been doing much lately, and I'm still on my beauty products no-buy (which I sorta broke, you'll see in a later post), which explains the lack of posts (sorry!). I have been buying quite a few books though.

I am a big fan of Agatha Christie, but I've been reading her books back-to-back, so I wanted to change it up a bit:

Insurgent by Veronica Roth is the second book in the Divergent trilogy. There was that whole dystopian craze either last summer or the summer before last. I loved Divergent, liked Insurgent, and am anticipating Allegiant, which comes out on October 22 (so exciting!)

Next up, we have Cinder by Marissa Meyer. Everyone has been talking about this book, so I had to see what all they hype is about. I believe this is retelling of Cinderella who is a cyborg (what?!).

In the spirit of Halloween, I wanted to pick up books 1 and 2 of The Monstrumologist series. I believe this is in the horror category, which is perfect for Halloween.

What do you guys think of book posts? Have you guys read any of the books mentioned?

Random stuff

Hello again,

I just wanted to post again.. haha I miss posting regularly! I'm sort of tired right now, because I got 5 hours of sleep last night, and completed my first 5k this morning! It was really cool to just look around the city without having to worry about cars and stuff. I love autumn weather.. The sky is so crisp and blue, and the slight wind boosts my mood. I could stare at the sky all day.. I think fall is my favorite season. :D

Look at all the yummy bread yummmmmm I love bread... This was from nearly a month ago.. And don't worry, I didn't eat ALL of them.. :P

I dislike cream inside my bread though. The consistency is too heavy for me..No wonder the melon bread was so heavy.. But the color is so pretty and the taste/scent was amazing~ Ahhhh I wish I could capture that color of the cream and change anything to that color. Pastels are so prettyyyy

not my pic: credits

Guess what guys. Pokemon X and Y came out today!! ^o^ And yes, I'm a nerd. e_e I really want X, but I need to buy a 3DS first.. I'm so excited though. The game looks really fun and interesting.. I've been a Pokemon fan for a while now, so I hope X and Y live up to their expectations. Most of my friends gave up on Pokemon though, saying that it changed for the worse. I actually like it though.. I like both the old and the new Pokemon games.. :3

NOTD: OPI Red/pink liquid sands

Hello!

Ahh I just spent nearly an hour watermarking pictures, and I'm still not done. T^T So behind!! Why do I procrastinate on everything..

Anyways, here's a NOTD from a couple of weeks ago.. OPI Jinx is from the Bond Girls collection, and OPI The Impossible is from the Mariah Carey collection.. from spring I think. I actually already compared these with OPI Magazine Cover Mouse (another red liquid sand) and talked about liquid sands in general in this post during the summer.

L-R: OPI Jinx, OPI The Impossible

Jinx is more coral/orange, while The Impossible is more of a cool-toned pink with glitters and stars!

I painted my pinky and pointer finger with The Impossible, and the rest with Jinx.

I tried applying some top coat on my pinky, and it came out to be very squishy looking. I love it. :D (Excuse the horrible painting.. I guess I got lazy.. T-T)

This really shows the texture in my opinion. I tried for quite a while to fish out a star from The Impossible, but no, it never happened. D:

This is after nearly a week of wear. As long as you don't put on a thin coat, they wear pretty well! Even better with top coat of course. (bad lighting, sorry >_<;;)

It's actually a four-day weekend for us here! There's no school next Monday or Tuesday. Yay I can finally finish Common App and other apps.. and essays! The deadline is 10/15 though so I'm in big trouble..

Update: still alive ♪♫♪

Hey guys!

Long time no post... T-T I've just been really busy lately, and I'm still not over the busy times, but I wanted to let you guys know that I'm still going to blog! I am sosososo behind on posts right now. (I have yet to watermark all my pics..) There are lots of manicures and nail art to come! and other miscellaneous things as well. ^^

Yum frap.. It was good for the first few sips, and then I got sick of it. Weird, cause I used to LOVE coffee.

I'll try to most more often, but I can't guarantee regularly timed posts until around November-December! I'm sorry guys. T^T College apps + extracurriculars + homework/projects are killing me.. At least I took my last SAT this past Saturday! yays hopefully the score doesn't come out worse than before..
I'm going to go to sleep now.. 1:11am.. gotta wake up early tomorrow for a club.. u_u

P.S. anyone else start singing Big Bang songs? (still alive, get it? ahaha..) ♫♪ ♫♪ ♫♪ ♫♪
