Another "My Picks" post, sigh, even I'm getting tired of writing posts like these. I just hope you guys aren't tired of reading these kind of posts.

I kinda went crazy for the new Sinful Colors collection because I just love the colors. I have 5 out of the 7 to show you guys.

I only have two from the Mariah Carey OPI collection, the other colors didn't really stand out to me.

Apologies for the long hiatus. I've just had no motivation whatsoever to do anything these past few weeks, so I decided to take a break. Probably should have done a little update... hmm

Anyways, I have the OPI Skyfall collection to show you guys. I know I'm REALLY REALLY late to the party on this post, but I figured it's better late than never. Maybelline Baby Lips Limited Edition

Hi again~
I bought these babies from my previous Walgreen's haul as well.

L-R: Pink Wink, Yummy Plummy, Coral Crush

 They were BOGO 1/2 off. :D

Yummy Plummy would probably give me a more subtle look, while the other two bright colors would be great for summer. I've heard good reviews on these products. I love the packaging too; it's so cute! 

If you guys don't know already, I have an obsession with lip products. I don't really wear make-up on a daily basis, so I spend my money on lip balms and nail polish. :D

But yup, I should stop buying things now. I wish time would go by quickly and that it was summer right now. No more school! If only... sigh. Life of a student.

Walgreens Haul/ Update

Helloo!

I've been doing homework all weekend, and now I have to write my argument speech about the grade system. T-T 

I don't know about you guys, but speeches terrify me. I hate speeches. I completely fine with reading from a TelePrompter (it actually sounds kinda fun to talk in front of a TV and look pretty cool lol) because I don't have to concern myself with achieving a certain purpose, but man. I can't move peoples' emotions with my speech. I'm not dramatic enough. Not to mention that I start shaking, and my heartbeats become so loud that I get more nervous and my voice falters and cracks. T_T

Anyways, look! I broke my nail. I know it's not that bad. I just hope I don't end up with a funky nail bed.

I tried the teabag method of fixing broken nails. I hope it works lol.

 Walgreen's had $1 off Sinful Colors last week! I bought too many.. At least they're all limited edition (except for Unicorn) from the Almost Famous and Sugar Rush collections. I love pastels too much.

Well now I'm at home, doing homework, with an upset stomach. Gah, I had an upset stomach last week too.. Apparently saltine crackers and ginger ale are supposed to help with nausea. At least they're yummy.

Hi guys...

Today has just been such a hectic day.. Too many things went wrong. But I guess we all learn from our mistakes, right? I've just been so sensitive to things that I'm normally not bothered by. I know I should just brush it off, but sometimes I have my own limits, and if someone pushes too far, I burst. I guess I should just understand others for their own personalities and behaviors, even if sometimes they go too far.

Sometimes, I just wanna say what's on my head! Just don't care about what will happen next, and express my frustration and anger. The thing is, I can't handle the awkward situation after I burst, because I don't burst often, especially in public. Hopefully what happened today can be prevented in the future, and I won't be so bothered by what other people say. I guess my tolerance levels were just pushed today.

Single awareness day, forever alone day.. Valentine's day can mean so many different things for different people! Hopefully I won't be alone in a few years.. ^^;;

A lot of girls at my school today were all dressed up, and a lot of the guys were too. The girls each had their own set of flowers or a red rose with a box of heart chocolates. I wasn't really jealous, but just wistful. I hope I'll be able to get my own set of flowers and a big box of heart chocolates from someone before I die. 

Anyways, guess what I did today! *coughboughtmorestuff* T_T

 Whenever I see a box of assorted chocolates I think of the scene from Matilda where the evil Miss Trunchbull eats all of Matilda's chocolates from her sacred box that her deceased dad had given to her. Trunchbull smacks her lips and chocolate is all over her teeth and.... blech...

 My favorite flower is the pink carnation. It used to be my favorite Crayola crayon color ever since kindergarten too! (I know, kinda cheesy. But that's what I am, a block o' cheese.)

 I went to Sally's to take advantage of the free Orly deal!

This is my first Orly bottle actually. I'm glad I got at least one bottle with the old design before only the new bottle would be available. (I'm a pack rat.) There aren't many swatches or reviews for Girly, but it's so pretty! At checkout, I had to hurry and choose one from a huge basket of Orly bottles (mostly pink) before the cashier got all impatient with me. I just got Merry Berry because it was on clearance and I always wanted a dark red polish. Total: a little over $3.

Sorry I'm not painting my nails a lot! I had to snip them short for a project because I had to play the viola and piano.. The worst with long nails..

I've been on the look for the perfect topcoat lately, but got a few other items as well. :D

I researched and found out that these two were good for the price. Finally, I can go to bed without waking up to blanket imprints all over my nails! -.-

Ehehehehe... I was only supposed to buy Winter Wonder, but ended up getting Mauve as well. Winter Wonder is apparently a dupe of OPI's On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Zoya's Fei Fei. 

Woohoo! My first polishes from Zoya!!! I got these with Zoya's 3 free promotion. :D

Blair is from their Pulse & Vibe collection in fall 2008, Cassi is from the Twist collection in summer 2009, and Tiffany is from their Fire & Ice collection during winter 2010. All of them are so pretty! 

I like the names of Zoya's polishes. I imagine each of their polishes characterizing a person with that name. For example, for Blair, I imagine a mysterious girl with dark, lustrous hair - who is wearing Zoya's Blair, - with an enigmatic stare that will cause anyone to immediately take notice. I'll swatch these later! Ohohoho so many things to swatch~ I realized all three colors are pink/red-ish...
