Hungry like a woooooolf

Hello hello~

I went to eat at a Korean-Chinese restaurant a looong time ago, and looking back at pictures made me super hungry. o_o

As always, they give sweet radish and onions with jjajang sauce, and kimchi as well. I remember I was so hungry that I ate all the radish and onions.. on an empty stomach. >_<

Tangsooyook
This is fried pork or beef, smothered in a sweet and sour sauce with some veggies and yummy pineapples..... My favorite. :D The tangsooyook was the best in this particular restaurant I went to.. The meat was crispy on the outside yet tender on the inside, and the sauce was perfect. Ah... so good. I hate it when restaurants let it sit for a while before serving, making the breaded part of the meat all mushy from the sauce. The fresher, the yummier~

My mom ordered jjamppong, which is a Korean spicy seafood noodle soup. Very yummy~ Ah....... *drools*

Gan-jjajang~
Yayyy this is what I ordered. The difference from jjajang and gan-jjajang is that with the latter, the jjajang sauce is a lot less liquidy and more like stir-fried veggies. The regular jjajang sauce has more of a creamy texture, due to the water and cornstarch added. Sometimes I like to eat both. :P On that particular day, the gan-jjajang sauce was a bit bland, but we asked for extra sauce and that made everything better.
I think the noodles here were green because they add a bit of green tea to their noodle flour? Idk..

Bul gan-jjajang (spicy)
This is pretty much the spicy version of the gan-jjajang. Look at all those chili peppers! I tried it once, and it was super spicy. I can handle spiciness pretty well, but this was so spicy it made you want to throw up... It's really tasty in the beginning, but when the spiciness hits, your tongue feels like it's on fire. I guess some people like it though. :D

Overall, everything was sooo yummy..... I really want to go back. T_T and get some of that tangsooyook in mah belly. Ever since I started my diet, my cravings have disappeared for the most part, but sometimes, I crave something a LOT and I just mope around in my room, wishing I had a car...

If you guys haven't tried Korean-Chinese cuisine, the above dishes are typically the most popular and common. The biggest dilemma is when you get to the restaurant and you can't decide between jjajang and jjamppong. o_o happens all the time......

Ohoh I got into more universities! More results are being released tomorrow, but after failing my calculus test today, my acceptance letter made me feel a bit better. :'D

Macarons!!

Hello~

Last Christmas, I had my first ever macarons! They were soooo good... I know the hype about macarons died down a lot, but I was still really excited to try them just cause they looked so pretty and colorful. ^_^

Two of these packages were for friends, but I still got to try most of the flavors!! :D

The purple/blue one was blueberry, the green was green tea, the yellow was lemon, and the brown was mocha flavored. sooo good ;A;

I was actually surprised by the hard shells and the chewiness... Idk.. These are my first macarons so I don't know what they normally taste like and what the texture is..

I think macarons are such a nice snack.. very expensive but yummy. It's so chewy and sweet and yummy...... T_T

One day I'll earn lots of money and buy more flavors of macarons! I've always wanted to try those flavors like earl grey, cassis berry, pistachio, etc. >_<

Tropical Skittle Nails

Hello~

Today I have some skittle-ish nails that remind me of something tropical. :D Very simple; no nail art. Just painting nails... I'm getting a bit lazy these days..

All the colors went on very well~ such pretty colors.... ^o^

Under natural light

Under artificial light

I most likely used two coats of each polish... I'm sorry I don't remember.... T^T

L-R: Modi Glam Nails Fruits Punch, Sinful Colors Pistache, butter LONDON Macbeth

Quick Reviews:

Modi Glam Nails Fruits Punch- Of course, there's some engrish, but anyways, I love this color so much~ It's one of those shades I've been looking for forever!! It's a peachy-cantaloupe pastel shade, and I think it's a crelly. The formula is opaque in two coats, and there's no streaking or anything. Only downside is that it stains the nails a bit..

Sinful Colors Pistache- I think I reviewed this before, but it's a nice neon pistachio creme. The formula is super thick and gloppy, but it's opaque in two coats, so it's manageable. It's a unique color, so it's worth the pain haha..

butter london Macbeth- Of course, the formula is amazing and flawless and opaque in two coats. I would call this a coral creme, with a cooler tone to it. Very pretty summer color and amazing formula~

Yayy I've been accepted into two more colleges this week~ yay! Now I gotta wait for my main ones to come out in April..... T_T

Happy Pi Day!! We had a food day in math today and I ate sooooo much plus I ate a cheeseburger and fries during lunch too.... T_T So good... I'm craving those waffles in Asia where they put ice cream on top and drizzle it with choco syrup... Oh or Mojo crepes.... yum!!! >_<

Pastel Blue and Pink Jelly Sandwiches~

Hello~

*Cough cough cough* I got the cold for the fifth time this school year..... o_o I usually only get sick once a year, but this time, man, my immune system isn't very strong... I blame the stress.

Anyways, I know spring isn't here yet, but I'm getting back to my pastel colors~ I did jelly sandwiches with some glitters and super sheer colors. Speaking of sandwiches.... I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the first time in almost a year last week. It was so goooooooooooood~

I only did jelly sandwiches on my middle and pink finger here, as you can see.

I think I used 3 coats for the plain nails, and 2 coats of a base color, 2 coats of the glitter polish, and a final coat of base color for the jelly sandwich nails. I know, that sounds like a lot, but the coats were super thin because all the polishes were so sheer!

The polish in the bottle looks super pretty here~ ^o^

Same with this bottle~ So sparkly..

Since I used like 4-5 coats in total, I couldn't paint exactly over the previous layers.. I apologize for the messy painting..

L-R: Sephora by OPI Havana Dreams, OPI I Theodora You, Revlon Whimsical, Revlon Starry Pink

Quick Review:

Sephora by OPI Havana Dreams- A very sheer, sort of streaky pastel blue. You need 4-5 thin coats for FULL opacity, but I get away with 3.. I love the color, so for me, it's sometimes worth all the coats.

OPI Theodora You- This is a very pretty, soft shade of light pink~ I tend to use this a lot compared to my other soft shades. The formula is good- it's on the sheer side, but you only need like 3-4 thin coats for full opacity. The color is so pretty thought so it's always worth it for me. :P

Revlon Whimsical- Blue and pink hexagonal glitters of different sizes in a sheer, light blue base. This is VERY sheer and glitter is super sparse as well, so I had to use two coats and use the dabbing method in order to get some glitter equally over my nail. I know it's a dupe (supposedly) of Deborah Lippmann's Glitter in the Air. Very pretty~ reminds me of cotton candy!

Revlon Starry Pink- Silver hexagonal glitters of different sizes in a sheer milky pink/white base color. I think the glitters in this one were a lot less sparse, which is good. I didn't have to use the dabbing method. :D Of course, the color is very sheer, so I had to use a different pink polish as a base color. Still, it's a very pretty color!

Overall, all the polishes were sheer but super pretty. I'm starting to like jellies more than cremes...... meh, who knows what'll happen?
