NOTD/Review: Jelly Sandwich (attempt)

Hello Everyone!

Long time no see (or read). Apologies.

I have been really into the "jelly sandwich" nails and wanted to try it.. except mine wasn't as successful as I had hoped.

I used these 2 polishes:

Left to Right: Mimosas for Mr. & Mrs., The Living Daylights 

I used 2 coats of Mimosas for Mr. & Mrs. and one coat of The Living Daylights. Mimosas for Mr. and Mrs. is a pretty sheer color and I thought it would go well with The Living Daylights. 

This is how it turned out: 

I'm kinda on the fence about this combination. I don't know what it is, maybe its because I was disappointed that it didn't work as well as I wanted it to. 

hmm... What do you guys think?
