Graduation~!!

Hello~

I know this is months overdue, but might as well post it. lots of yummy food~ If you guys didn't know, I graduated this year so this is sort of what I did that day. I had no school *woohoo* and only had to go to school in the afternoon for the ceremony.

After graduation rehearsal in the morning, we walked to the bakery and got green tea bubble tea!! so good~

There were my nails that day.. Don't you agree that they are bright colors?!?! sorry for the bad lighting.
The blue is Wet n Wild Teal Slowly and See. The yellow is Revlon Buttercup. ALERT: Buttercup stains, so make sure to apply a coat of white polish underneath to avoid staining.

For lunch, my family went to a Korean buffet. I was really craving chicken.. I also got hobak-jeon(zucchini squash) and matang..(sweet potatoes)

Someone loves the veggies!! (Not me..)

More yummy food~

Graduation started at 8pm I think? Yeah we had it at our football field... at least there weren't many mosquitoes and it didn't rain!!

The long line of people getting their diplomas... I'm near the end..

Afterwards I had a little graduation party at my house because I wasn't sure if I was going to see some of my friends again who were going out of state for college. Costco chocolate cake is the best!!

This is the food. So yummy~

But yup~ I'm so glad graduation is over. It wasn't as moving as I thought it would be, but whatever~ No more school from 8am-4pm!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it's already July though.... I haven't really done anything either... sighs T_T Maybe I'll still be able to get that job at Domino's, even though they called me for an interview almost a month ago...

Hawaii Pt. 2

Hello,

So.. this is part two! We went to Waikiki, (because, well, it's a tourist must) and then we went around the duty-free shopping mall. I went to the Nature Republic at Waikiki and it's AMAZING. Then we went to Ala Moana Shopping Center, where I met some EXO members hoohoo or at least their board prints.... T_T I actually prefer the Nature Republic at Waikiki rather than Ala Moana... It's much bigger and they have more products and better customer service.

Waikiki palm trees~

Not a lot of people that day.. maybe because of the jellyfish warnings o_o

Nagasaki champon!! Soooooooooooooo good.

Chicken karaage was crunchy and amazing..

I wanna say it's chicken gyuudon, but idk.. I don't know Japanese..

Heehee........ It's Kai and Baekhyun~ This was in front of the Nature Republic store at Ala Moana.

We then ate ice cream at Bernie's (I think?) I got their green tea mochi ice cream because apparently it's the best, and I agree; it is. I've never craved green tea ice cream so much before..

Overall, I had a lot of fun this day too. Ala Moana is HUGE and there were so many people, especially tourists like me. Lots of Japanese couples as well. I got a lot of street passes!! I miss the good food so much... and I wanna go back to Nature Republic and be with Kai, Baekhyun, and Luhan..... >_<

Bonus: When I went to the Nature Republic at Ala Moana, I was looking at the masks and cleansers, and an employee came and helped me. Err at least she tried to help, but it seemed like she didn't really know much about the products yet.. I was looking at the lip tints, and they only had the shine tints, but I was wondering if they had the water tints like at Waikiki. I asked the person what the difference between shine and water tints were, and she replied with "Umm.. One is water and one is shiny."
Derp.
Thank you sales associate. I now know the difference between Shine tints and Water tints at Nature Republic.

Hawaii Pt. 1

Hello~

So I'm back from my trip! I'm still adjusting to the time zones, but it's all good. It was really fun, and I came back tan, fat, and tired, but it was totally worth it. I haven't had this much fun while vacationing in a LONG time..

Anyways, here's the first few days in my old hometown and then my first day in Hawaii! My friend's family actually resides in Hawaii, so I just kinda tagged along and explored Hawaii. Oahu to be exact. It was really nice~

Kudos to you if you know which mountains these are!!

I FINALLY got to try the over-hyped Honey toast.. it was yummy, but the price was kinda meh... T_T but still so good~ This was green tea and red bean ice cream!! :D

Pho is so good in my hometown~ (canya guess it yet?) I haven't had this good pho in such a long time! (I know it doesn't look as appetizing in this photo, but it was good~)

heehee more food. Banh mi and honeydew bubble tea!!!! so good!!

The lovely view from my friend's house's apartment~ So nice!!! The thing that shocked me at first was that the clouds were so low that they brushed over the tips of the mountains!! so cool!

My friend's grandfather was so nice and gave me a lei as a welcome gift!! so pretty and smelled really nice too~

Iolani Palace I think.. Really cool as well! I didn't go in though. It was so hot and we had been walking for hours..

The ocean is so pretty and blue and sparkly there~

We probably burned at least 100 calories walking in the heat for hours, so we got hungry and ate crepes at one of the many food places~ It was surprisingly good!

Ahh I wanna go back, cept this time with all of my friends and family and show them all the cool stuff I got to experience!! So much good food man... T_T I met some old church friends, ate good food, experience lots of nostalgia, and then opened my eyes to a whole new world. (even though that sounds super cheesy) It was just so amazing I can't put it into words... maybe it's cause I just went there for vacation.. There's a huge variety of people there too, like anywhere else, so I got to experience something outside of the bubble I'm in. I hope I've toughened up a bit!

BONUS: Funny story hehe.. So the first day my friend and I walked around Chinatown, and explored and stuff and then all of a sudden a homeless person starts following us and cursing at us and saying super scary stuff for no reason. We didn't look back because we were so scared and kept on walking, and eventually just went into the local seven eleven to escape. Once we got inside we were relieved, but we realized we had to buy something, so while we were waiting to buy our drinks, a man suddenly left the store, stealing a bunch of food and drinks. The employee there was yelling stop but he just left, and then my friend and I looked at each other and yeah.. Exciting first day! My bubble that I was protected in pretty much popped by the time we exited the seven eleven. T_T

I'll update with part 2 sometime soon!

'Til next time!

i'm leaving!!

Hello~

ahhh I'm leaving to visit my friends in a couple of hours!! I should probably go to sleep, but I'm too excited/nervous. I can't sleep because:

1. I haven't seen my friends for three years/ missed them and the city that I lived in for most of my childhood
2. I haven't rode on a plane for three years. I actually like plane rides.. even those 18 hour long ones..
3. I'm really nervous because I've changed so much and my friends have probably changed just as much! Besides personality, I've gained my freshman 15 a year earlier, so I'm currently very chubby and slow. u_u
4. I'll be staying at my friend's house, so we'll see how that goes.. >< My stomach makes lots of inappropriate sounds..
5. I'm afraid time will go by too fast and before I know it I'll be back at home, in front of my computer, rotting away... T_T

Anyways, I'll try to take lots of pictures! Now I gotta get a few hours of sleep before I leave!

Oh, btw, do you guys think Baekhyun and Taeyeon are for reals?! I felt really happy when I read the rumors for some reason.. I think they are really cute together. ^o^ but we'll see what SM has to say about this.. just watch them be like "kkaepsongggg"

See you guys in two weeks!

feeling stupid and... yeah just stupid

Hello~

Soooo....... I'm feeling really stupid right now..

So I sent an email saying that I wanted to cancel something for college, but then I realized that I made a mistake and actually wanted to NOT cancel. So six minutes after sending my first email, I sent it to the lady again apologizing for the mistake and saying that I don't want to cancel.

Guess what. A couple hours later, the lady responds, saying that she cancelled my thing.

Did she not even look at my second email? Plus in the first email, I asked her a couple of questions, and she didn't respond to any of them.

So, I sent another email right away explaining the situation. I really hope she actually reads her email this time, because I really can't have my college thing being cancelled... T-T

I know, it's mostly my fault for making a mistake and sending the email in the first place. FSJDKLFJSDLKJ my life right now is so stressful... The problem is that I'm the one who makes it so stressful.

Sigh. Hopefully it works out. If it doesn't, I guess I can't help it. I learned the hard way. Read the fine print guys! I'll just have to pay for my mistake.. literally.

I also want to kick myself in the butt for not working on all these college documents and forms sooner.. I'm going on a trip later this week and won't be back until July 4th, so I gotta do these in the next couple of days before I go.. T_T stupid of me...

Sorry for not posting nails and other stuff.. I will soon~

'Til next time!

EDIT: Yay she reinstated my thing! Phew...! Now I gotta work on my resume and apply for jobs..

#PrayforSPU

Hello,

I usually don't post about tragedies. or sad happenings in general. I'm a wimp. I try to ignore sad things in my life and focus on the happy things, but it's even more difficult when the sad thing involves the death of a person who I once talked to, worked with, and laughed with.
Thousands of miles away, it's hard to feel the direct effect of the loss of a classmate. It still hasn't hit me yet. Everything feels strange.
With the increased amount of tragedies, I am beginning to realize how brief life is. In any moment, any one of us could disappear forever. Yet in times of need we begin to truly pay attention. I still remember your smile when we were in the same group for the first time. Even though I didn't really get to know you, you treated me like I was one of your close friends. You made me smile, laugh, and enjoy class. You broke the ice when the rest of us were too shy to talk. Even though you might have forgotten me over the years, I still remembered you, and I always will.

R.I.P. Paul Lee. You and your family and friends will always be in my prayers.

Last Day for Seniors~~

Hello~!

So I've been watermarking pictures for the past two hours, and looking at my past pics made me really hungry.. Since I'm super behind on posts, I'll try grouping pics chronologically. :P

The last day for seniors was a couple of weeks ago. It actually depended on whether or not you were eligible to exempt finals and stuff, but yeah most of my friends were able to. yay :D

The day was pretty relaxed with almost no work. We just watched movies in class or signed yearbooks and took pictures. :D

In band, our period won a fundraiser thingy so our reward was a pizza day. We got Domino's pizza, Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets, a cookie, drinks, and a rice crispies treat. Yeah.. Eating healthy is kinda hard if you're given free food like this...

During lunch, we got our last senior treat, which was frozen yogurt! I prefer tart, but they only had vanilla, (it was my first time actually eating vanilla and not sampling it) but it was ok. I got cookie dough and mochi. :D yummmmm

It was our last time walking through these hallways... sort of..

Afterwards, my friends and I went to a Korean restaurant/cafe kind of place. A snack hut. The interior was really cute and the waitresses had really cute uniforms too. ^_^

The tuna kimbap and the odeng were realy good~ I don't really eat odeng though but the soup was yummy.

We also ordered tteokbokki with ramen (rabokki), which was good. It was super spicy!! The rice cakes were nice and chewy but overall it was a bit too soupy for my taste. I wish they gave us another egg too. T^T

For dessert we walked to Quickly and got bubble tea. Ginger got milk tea and I got thai tea. yummy~ Quickly is one of the better bubble tea places in my opinion. I haven't been to a lot of bubble tea places though.. I think thai tea is my favorite.. I like honeydew and green tea and taro as well, but they're always a hit or miss. I feel like it's kinda hard to mess up thai tea.. but I may be wrong. :/

The day was busy and filled with lots of eating nonstop, but it was fun. The whole day it still didn't hit me that I would never have to wake up at 7am to go to high school ever again. Looking back, time sure goes by fast. I wish I could go back to this day and eat all the yummy food again~ >_<

Idk.. high school was better than I thought.. until I had to move and then yeah I really didn't focus on liking school, just on passing it. I remember actually crying a lot during sophomore and junior year just cause it was so hard.. I learned from junior year though and was a bit smarter about choosing classes for senior year. For our school, 3 APs should be the maximum for a year.. 4 is pushing it, 5 is crazy, and 6 is ajfsdklfsj.

I'm really craving bubble tea. and patbingsoo. and frozen yogurt. I crave these things all the time.

Next I'll either post nails or about graduation day!

'Til next time~

Update - done with h.s.

Hello~

Graduation was a couple of weeks ago.. but YAYYY finally high school is over!!
I got my driver's license last week too!! yayy!!! I actually did the parallel parking and reverse parking!

I have so much to post, mostly food, but I'm really reluctant to watermark everything right now because I'm just so lazy... Ever since school ended I've become even more and more lethargic, and for some reason all of my past embarrassing memories are flooding my mind.. T^T

I promise I'll upload all of them one day... I couldn't exactly find a part-time job this summer, so I'll have plenty of free time to blog. :D

Feeling funny...

Hello~

This is gonna be another one of my rambling all-over-the-place posts.. just lettin' you guys know..

These days I feel funny.. actually, I don't know exactly how to say it. I feel odd, queer, strange, idk... I feel like I can express myself better in Korean... maybe I'm using the totally wrong expression in Korean but 기분이 묘하다...

A couple of reasons why I'm feeling this way:

1. High school is over, so I'm overwhelmed and confused with all the free time I have. I used to never have free time, like ever, and only lived on 4-5 hours of sleep a day because of studying, so having enough time to sleep AND do fun stuff is new.... and I'm clueless on what to do. I feel like the only thing I learned to do these past few years is study, so without any work to do, I feel useless because I can't really do anything.

2. The more I think about college, the more I'm dreading it. Most of my friends are excited to study their respective majors, get involved in school, minor in stuff like business or a language, etc. I'm just nervous and not looking forward to the huge amounts of calculus and physics I'll have to study for my major, because those two subjects were the most difficult and least enjoyable for me this past year. T-T Everybody I talk to says that I won't have time to do anything like marching band or clubs or stuff if I continue to study my chosen major. -_-

3. I'm still struggling with my weight y'all. I'm going to try a new experiment, but getting to 50 kg by this week seems impossible. I'll fight to try to get at least 55 kg by graduation this week. :P But then I'll take it slow and try to get to 50 kg by the time I go visit my childhood friends. This is really saddening and depressing to me because I thought I would have the willpower to lose weight and become more healthy by graduation, but I blew it the past couple of days. My horrible metabolism doesn't exactly help either.. oh well.

4. There are so many things I want to do and so many hobbies I want to try, but it can't be done unless I lose my weight, which is already a struggle in itself. I also promised myself that I wouldn't do some stuff I really want to unless I lose my weight, as motivation.

5. The whole Kris situation makes me a bit sad.. actually I've been down in the dumps ever since I found out..

Not my picture. Credits to YG Ent.

Wahh 2NE1 looks so pretty here! and happy~
I remember I was never really into music until 2NE1 debuted.. back in 2009... I bought their album and would listen to their CD on my bulky, portable radio. I would have to play it really quiet though or else it would disturb my parents. This was before I got my first ever music player and headphones. But yeah... I loved "I don't care" and "In the club" and like all of their songs... Up until today they are my favorite kpop group~ ^o^ I thought Park Bom was soooo pretty in the album~ I always wanted to be as cool as her when I grew up.

Maybe I'm thinking too much.. sometimes I'll talk to my friends and I get this sense that they're just nodding and agreeing because they don't understand but don't really want me to explain..

Hah! but yup.. oh lately I've been watching "Supersize vs. Superskinny" a lot, and so I've been observing what people eat around me. For example, today, I went to Costco and bought a hot dog, which comes with a drink. As I was eating it, I kinda looked at what people around me were eating, portion sizes etc, and yup it was interesting. The people to my right was your typical Asian parents eating together, and the mom and the dad shared a slice of pizza among the two of them, with no drinks. To the right, there was a grandma with her granddaughter, and the grandma ate a hot dog with a drink like me, and then right after, she bought a churros and ate that too, and then finished the remaining 3/4th of her granddaughter's hot dog, and then finished her drink and refilled it. To me, it was really interesting seeing the different portion sizes and stuff. Then I felt super guilty about eating my hot dog.. :P

If you could have a superpower, what would it be? I would either choose between time travelling, teleportation, or invisibility. I wish that with time travelling, I could have options, so for example, one option would be that I would time travel and see the past me doing stuff, but another option would be actually time travelling to the past and being inside my own body, changing my actions. Of course, there would be problems with all the inconsistencies and stuff, but it would be fun nonetheless. The first thing I would do is time travel back to when I was in middle school and tell myself that everything gets better, and that nobody cares about my huge insecurities, and that I should eat a ton so I get taller.

I just really want a cat. A cat would really help in solving all of my problems.. I wish it would snuggle next to me when I sleep. I kinda want a dog too. :P

My new favorite cookie is Pim's orange biscuits. Sooooo goooood~

What have I done with my life these past few years?!?!

#firstworldproblems

I feel like I'm having a mid-life crisis at the end of high school... Idk guys.. I feel so useless and worthless right now. I don't even know how to parallel park. I can't even...

I'm pretty heavy.. my skin is getting worse.. ahh aigoo my insecurities..

'Til next time~

Procrastinating... #sodone

Hey guys~

I don't know what's wrong with me this year, but man, senioritis has smacked me in the face. I have AP exams starting tomorrow, and I haven't studied this whole weekend. o_o I just ate a lot because I was stressed... I don't know what I'm going to do.. Technically, I don't really have to do well on my AP exams, but I guess it looks bad if my teachers have a lot of people who fail the exam... I at least want to pass, so that's why I'm a wreck right now because I haven't really reviewed separately outside of class..

I just watched the first episode of SBS' Roommate. I guess since it's only the first episode, I can't really say anything, but I was really hoping to see a lot of interaction from Park Bom or Chanyeol, but they weren't present for more than 90% of the episode today, so I guess I have to wait for next week....!

Yeah I don't even know anymore. What is life.. I'm probably gonna end up going on tumblr some more, then go to rehearsal and come back at around 9pm and then maybe look through my psych book super quick, hoping that I'll be able to absorb some more info on split brain, and then face the ap exam head on tomorrow. T_T

I really want to buy Annie's Way Hyaluronic Acid Brighting Jelly Mask. Bubzbeauty recommended it, and I think I need it badly for my poor skin.. I've only been concentrating on acne treatments, so I'm afraid to use any products cause it might trigger more clogged pores and acne. This year, I got TONS more scars because my acne suddenly got worse this year. It's cleared up a lot now, but I still frequently get those huge pimples.. I now want to work on maintaining clear skin and brightening/fading scars and getting rid of enlarged pores/blackheads.

Lately, I've been becoming more sensitive.. oh noes.. T_T One of my favorite songs have the saddest lyrics ever, and I started tearing up as I began singing along.. Oh that's one of my "talents" by the way... I can start crying in less than 10 seconds. My mom tells me that it's because I'm secretly constantly depressed right now, so almost anything can trigger my sadness. :c Usually listening to music does the trick, but lately it hasn't been working.. Maybe it's because of the Sewol ferry tragedy... I couldn't stop crying when I heard the reports..

Sigh.... on a brighter note... well actually, I don't really have any good news... so... sorry for only saying depressing stuff today.. D:

Wish me luck guys... only 3 more weeks of school left.. then graduation! yay!

'Til next time~

Losing weight~ My diet tips

Hello~

Just like the title says, I've been trying to lose weight for the past few years months, and for the first time, it's I actually lost some weight last month/this month! :D

Quick summary: I used to weigh around 50 kg until freshman year of high school, when I gained weight to 54 kg, and then this past year (I'm a senior) I went to my all time high of 58 kg. o_o I'm not even tall, so 58 kg is very uncomfortable for me.. I couldn't fit into any of my pants so I wore leggings most of the time. T^T

I never could lose the weight, until I finally found a "diet" and lifestyle change that worked for me. I have a few tricks that I believe helped me lose some fat.

1) Yogurt and bananas.

Voila! My two secret weapons muahaha

But yup. Just incorporating those two foods into my diet actually helped me to lose weight. I ate this as a snack and whenever I felt hungry. They are actually very filling, and the good bacteria in the yogurt supposedly help your body lose weight.
I lost 2 kg in just under a week by changing my diet and eating those two foods above.

2) Wheat-free (but not carb-free)

Mmmmm doesn't that look yummy? I ate A LOT of stuff like this and lost weight~

Normally for dinner I would have pasta, pizza, breads, rice, etc. Mainly super high-carb and high-calorie foods. Once I eliminated all forms of wheat and most carbs (I still ate carbs, like in fruits) I lost weight, because all I was eating was protein and vegetables. Yum. I ate as much as I wanted to, and ended up eating way less calories and losing weight.

Right now, I am around 56 kg still, because I have been all over the place these past few weeks. I lose/gain weight quickly. For example, early last week, I was 53 kg, but after two weekends of eating whatever I wanted, I went back to 56 kg. Of course I'm pretty bummed, but starting tomorrow, I'm going to eliminate junk foods/wheat products again, and hopefully I'll go back to 53 kg. My ultimate goal is 50 kg by the time I graduate, so I won't cringe every time I look back at graduation pictures.

Anyways, if you haven't already and you're having a hard time losing weight like I did, I suggest that you experiment more with your diet, because food intake is very crucial to weight loss. Exercise helps, but your diet is very important as well.

My typical diet:

Breakfast- banana
Lunch- granola bar
Dinner- a TON of meat and veggies
Snacks- yogurt and a banana

I don't normally eat breakfast or lunch because my stomach hurts if I eat a lot in the morning, and I fall asleep during class if I eat a filling lunch.. T^T Besides, I get hungry near the afternoon anyways.

If I felt like I ate too much, I usually try to learn a dance. Dancing motivates me to lose weight even more, because dancing with huge, heavy thighs like me is very uncomfortable and inconvenient in my opinion.. T_T I learned EXO's Growl though.. so fun. ^o^ I'm gonna go practice now, cause I just ate like 1000 calories past 9pm..... I was hungry. ._.

'Til next time~

Prom 2014~

Hello~

Wow I can't believe it's already almost the end of April!! The May 1st deadline is coming up for colleges... T_T

Anyways, I went to our school's prom for the first (and probably last) time this year! I went to homecoming in the fall, so I had a basic idea of how school dances would be like. I have to say that I preferred prom over homecoming though. Plus, going to prom was also one of the things in my bucket list, so I was glad I could finally check something off of that list!

To me at least, I was looking forward more to the food than the actual dance... shhh... hehehe..

The desserts were so cute! They were all together in the rack above, and they were sooo good...

Mango cheesecake~ <3

Girls: bring a pair of flats! I regret not bringing an extra pair of shoes... T^T

We got there a tiny bit early.... so there was nobody on the dance floor. It was nice, though, cause we got to explore the place while it was still empty~

This was during the middle of it, but man, lots of people! Less than the amount at homecoming though..

All of my friends got together at somebody's house in the afternoon for pictures, and we got a LOT of pictures taken. I'm not really used to taking pictures, nor am I photogenic, so I look awkward in most of the pics. It was a nice experience though; who knows when I'll get my picture taken again?

After the pictures, we drove to the restaurant, ate delicious food, then drove to the prom site. I ate even more food there. hehe.. they had bread, cupcakes, and pudding! and iced tea and lemonade mmm~

The only complaint was the music I guess. Most of the songs were similar in style, and in my opinion, hard to dance to... In the end, they even repeated the same songs over and over again.. T^T

Overall, prom was a nice experience. I got tired at around 10pm, but my friends were still energetic even when it ended at 12am. o_o I'm a homebody... :P

Only a few of the girls in our group got asked to prom, so the rest of us just went as a group of good ol' friends. I don't see any problem to going to school dances with friends. I think it's more fun that way, but if you manage to snag someone, by all means go ahead and have fun!! It's fun either way actually. I guess it depends on the person. :P Hopefully during college or after college I'll be able to find my fish in the sea.. ^_^

'Til next time!

2048: EXO derpy edition

Hello~

So this is how I spent my break so far...

Woohoo!! A derpy EXO version of 2048

I finally won!! You can see Chen in the corner with a very uncomfortable face but yup he's supposed to be the "2048" tile in this version.

I recommend that you guys play this here! Their faces make it worthwhile. :P You won't regret it haha...

Ohoh I have a DMV story.. So last Saturday I went to the DMV to do a walk-in road test to get my license. I got there at 6am, and it opens at 7:30am, so when I arrived there, there were a couple of cars but nobody was outside the building. I decided to walk outside and wait in front of the door before other people started coming, but the second I arrived at the front, EVERYBODY came out of their cars and walked up to wait as well. We waited for a long time, and it was a bit chilly, but I had my iPod so I wasn't THAT bored, but something funny happened. The four people behind us pretty much plotted against us, saying out loud that I wasn't technically first because I arrived there later than them. It was pretty annoying but I just brushed it off. Finally we went in at 7:30 am, and they only took the first 5 walk-ins. Luckily I was first in line so I got in, but for some reason I was third on the walk-in list, so I was like meh.

We waited for 6 hours, until around 11:30pm, and they announced that they couldn't take any walk-ins. The five of us were devastated. I mean, I guess we knew that it wasn't guaranteed, but waiting for 6 hours was tiring and mentally exhausting. I played through almost all the songs in my iPod, and played 2048 and flappy bird. I ate like a million granola bars and Twix mini candy bars as well. Pshh what diet? T_T

I was super sad and felt very unproductive after coming back home. I had just wasted 6 hours hoping that I could finally get my license..... I ended up going home and working on my calc project for a couple of hours to make myself feel better, and then I ate dinner and slept early because I only got 4 hours of sleep the day before.

Well, that's my DMV story. I wish somebody had told me this earlier, but walk-in road tests are nearly impossible on Saturdays and Tuesdays. :P Arghh!! haha T-T I wish I had been smart and had reserved a road test a couple of months ago, because when I called them a few weeks ago, the earlier reservation was late May, which is after our graduation, so I was hoping to get it done earlier... I'll try again sometime though!! This time I'm coming prepared! I'm bringing a lot more food, blankets, games, and a campsite.

It would be really sad if I actually was able to do the road test but didn't pass..... T_T Wish me luck guys!!

'Til next time~

China Glaze Pastel Nails NOTD swatches and review / the aquarium!!

Hello~

Dang it's already april!! I'm so sad: I missed the pokemon google maps thing from yesterday.. oh well..
Anyways, guess what!?
I got the cold. again. sixth time this school year I think. Getting sick is becoming a monthly event... T_T
The weird part is that I usually only get sick once a year, but this year, I'm getting SUPER sick like every single month.. It's not a slight cold, but a full-out influenza type of cold, but it's not really the flu.. it just feels worse than the typical cold I get. I blame the stress.

Well here's a short NOTD that I did using China Glaze polishes! Since spring is here, I'm turning more and more to pastel colors.

I think I did two coats of everything. Please ignore the bubbles: they were from my top coat...

quick messy painting woop woop!

L-R: China Glaze Something Sweet, Aquadelic

Quick Reviews:

Something Sweet: This is a very pretty light pastel pink with a very thick, creamy formula. It's not THAT streaky for a pastel polish, but I still had a few bald spots.. probably cause of my sucky painting.. But it's still a really pretty light baby pink. I love pinks..

Aquadelic: I actually did a post a long time ago with swatches and stuff on this.. It's basically a really pretty and bright turquoise with a very nice, opaque formula. I think it's my favorite turquoise out of the other similar polishes I did a comparison on.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like China Glaze polishes dry quicker than other polishes? o_o idk...

Moving on~
We went to the aquarium! It was my first time going to the aquarium here, and it was better than I expected. :D

I thought these jellyfish were soooooo cooooooooool

With the aquarium comes overpriced food. The fries were like $4 or $5 and the drink was $3-$4.... T_T It was good, but omg I could have bought an entire meal with that money..

The aquarium was fun, even though I'm not very fond of the aquatic life.. I have some sort of fear of the ocean; whenever we drive next to or over a large body of water or the ocean, I have this fear that somehow I'm going to fall in and drown. It's inexplicable, so I don't really tell anyone.

Wah my throat hurts so much.. I came home today, ate dinner, and then slept for 4 hours.. Then I woke up, took a shower, studied for psych, and here I am. :P

My dinner today consisted of: a bowl of hot soup, a bagel with a generous amount of cream cheese, lots of ritz crackers with more cream cheese, and 2 bowls of cereal. o_________o so much food.... but I have to fuel my body so it can heal and I won't be sick hopefully by this Friday!!!

'Til next time~
