Kpop Nails: EXO Inspired Valentine's Day Nail Art

Hello~

Happy Valentine's Day! I spent the day eating a lot, then exercising, and now I feel extremely tired because of it. I'm snacking on some choco chips now.. I hope you guys had a great day! Teehee can't wait til I actually "celebrate" Valentine's Day.. One day.. Stay hopeful! >_<;;

Today I have another kpop inspired nail art design.
It's EXO! :D

Most of the nail art was inspired by their album covers.. I mean, hearts and stuff sort of relate to Valentine's day, right?

XOXO is actually a song in their album too.. hehe

I really gotta practice more with nail art.. My hands are so wobbly!

I like my pointer finger or my pinky.. I'll keep on practicing on getting straighter lines guys.. oh and polka dots as well..

I also used a dotting tool for the polka dots, and some brushes for the nail art.

I need to find a better way to clean my nail art brushes.. It's easy to clean the paint but not the nail polish..

They are so adorable! I try to find a bias, but all of them are bias wreckers.. ._.

I know kpop isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it is mine. lol.. I've been trying to bargain with myself, saying things like "If I don't eat that cookie, I get to watch one more music video!" I end up eating the cookie while watching the music video.. derp!

Last night, while I was super hungry at 2am, I asked myself, do I want food or do I want love? Yeah I ask myself crazy questions when I hungry. I was really craving Korean fried chicken.. T_T

Happy New Years!! Review and Resolutions

Hello hello~

Happy New Years everyone!! ^_^ I'm eating some jello fruit cake and watching the first episode of Heirs. :D Ahh this is the life.. Anyways, 2013 is finally over.. I don't know about you guys, but 2013 was kinda rough. I'm looking forward to another year though. :D I can't believe it's already been a year since we started this blog.. I hope it grows even more in 2014.

My New Year's Resolutions:

1. Exercise! I think this was a resolution for a couple of years now.. But I actually have the hope and the determination this year. :D
2. Eat healthy! Which means cutting out junk food.. :c
3. Always be hopeful, and never give up.
4. Don't care about what other people think of you or whether they judge you. In the end, it doesn't really matter. You still have your own problems and solutions to deal with.
5. Work hard on everything. Don't waste time dilly-dallying!
6. Get more sleep. My skin in currently paying the price for extreme sleep deprivation..
7. Avoid jealousy or envy; it's simply not worth it. I'm constantly wishing that I was someone else, but all I can do is try my best at being me.
8. Be happy and healthy. LOL I know this is really cheesy, but for reals.

I feel like I'm giving myself a pep talk or something.. haha. Hopefully 2014 will be a good year. I wish you guys luck with your resolutions for 2014 as well! Woohoo!

Holiday Mani with OPI Mariah Carey 2013 Holiday Collection

Hello hello!

Happy Merry Christmas!! Yayy we still have 10-ish minutes of Christmas left here.. :P

I hope you guys had an amazing holiday season so far. Today, I woke up pretty late, opened presents with the family, and then went out to eat Chinese food for dinner. The restaurant was packed! Sort of surprising but not at the same time.. 

Anyways, here's a simple mani using polishes from the OPI Mariah Carey 2013 Holiday Collection! This collection has been out for a while, but some stores may still have some of the polishes left. The red is All I Want for Christmas (is OPI) and the glitter is My Favorite Ornament. 

I used one coat, but I could have gone with two for the glitter.

I love the colors.. ^_^ Puts me in a holiday mood.

If I used two coats instead of one for the glitter, you probably wouldn't see the visible nail line as much..

All I Want for Christmas (is OPI): I love this color! It's the perfect, classic red creme with a great formula. It might be a little thin for some, but for me, it went on smoothly and evenly. It makes your fingers look very elegant. :D

My Favorite Ornament: This is a very pretty champagne glitter; perfect for the holidays. The formula was even and applied with no problems.

Anyways, ahh 2013 is already almost over! Christmas was great this year, and I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas as well. I actually spent most of the day writing college essays, but it's ok! It's almost over! :D I love winter break.. but my favorite season would have to be fall. The sky is just so darn pretty during fall. I literally sometimes just stare at the sky for a few minutes.. ><

Memorial Day shopping~

Hi guys~

I went shopping this past weekend and actually bought some clothes! I know it's not much, but I usually never buy clothes.. I don't have a sense of style. T_T but I'm gonna change that.. hopefully soon!

I like how it's thin. Bad part is that the fabric prevents air ventilation, so it can get pretty hot even though it's thin. 

AE short shorts for 40% off!

Just a basic pair of jean shorts for the summer.

Hollister shorts on clearance for ~$12 each?

I actually bought these online a while back.. 

Now that I think about it, I don't know why I bought so many shorts. I have medium, warm-toned skin so I tan and get sun spots REALLY easily. Like no joke, I wore these shorts when I went shopping a few days ago, and I already have tons of new freckles/sun spots and a tan line on my thighs. -_- I envy my friends who can stay in the sun for HOURS and just get minor redness. No freckles, no speckles, no awkward tan lines. Maybe sun spots were useful for camouflaging back when we were cavemen and we lived in jungles. I don't know.. ^_^;;

Happy Valentine's Day! (aka another lonely day)

Bonjour~

Single awareness day, forever alone day.. Valentine's day can mean so many different things for different people! Hopefully I won't be alone in a few years.. ^^;;

A lot of girls at my school today were all dressed up, and a lot of the guys were too. The girls each had their own set of flowers or a red rose with a box of heart chocolates. I wasn't really jealous, but just wistful. I hope I'll be able to get my own set of flowers and a big box of heart chocolates from someone before I die. 

Anyways, guess what I did today! *coughboughtmorestuff* T_T

 Whenever I see a box of assorted chocolates I think of the scene from Matilda where the evil Miss Trunchbull eats all of Matilda's chocolates from her sacred box that her deceased dad had given to her. Trunchbull smacks her lips and chocolate is all over her teeth and.... blech...

 My favorite flower is the pink carnation. It used to be my favorite Crayola crayon color ever since kindergarten too! (I know, kinda cheesy. But that's what I am, a block o' cheese.)

 I went to Sally's to take advantage of the free Orly deal!

This is my first Orly bottle actually. I'm glad I got at least one bottle with the old design before only the new bottle would be available. (I'm a pack rat.) There aren't many swatches or reviews for Girly, but it's so pretty! At checkout, I had to hurry and choose one from a huge basket of Orly bottles (mostly pink) before the cashier got all impatient with me. I just got Merry Berry because it was on clearance and I always wanted a dark red polish. Total: a little over $3.

Sorry I'm not painting my nails a lot! I had to snip them short for a project because I had to play the viola and piano.. The worst with long nails..
